Post 5: My First Job

Hi everyone, today I will talk about that moment in which we decided what to do with our lives, we all know that there are many paths to choose, for example, work, study to obtain a degree, take a sabbatical year, among many other options.

In my case, I decided to study social work and, until now, I love my career and I hope to have a good job in which I can help other people through social programs, public policies and being a leader for the community, but I do not wait to work alone, and not because I cannot, is because social work is not an individualistic discipline, that is why we must work transversally with a group formed by professionals from different areas (depending on the type of project being carried out), for example lawyers, engineers, psychologists, educators, etc.

I imagine my ideal work in a location that is far from the most urban areas, for example at some end of the country, for example, an island in southern Chile, Antarctica or San Pedro de Atacama; This is because the perisphere sectors are mostly those that receive fewer resources and have more problems, these usually the resources stay in Santiago, the capital (this is a problem of centralization). In my job I would like to be versatile, work both in the outdoors and in an office, and since I would not live in my native area, I probably have to travel a lot.
